As many such stories go, it all started in a garage in 1944. "It was during
the war years when the government limited families to four gallons of gas a week," says Roy Warren,
the company's founder. Stuck at home, "I figured I had to do something at night to keep busy."
Roy grew that hobby born of gas rationing into a thriving family business.
In 1978, we took a crucial risk and invested in early-generation computerized machinery. We haven't
looked back since.
Today, we operate from 23,000 square feet in two buildings in Tualatin, Oregon.
We remain a leader in the machining industry, utilizing and developing cutting-edge technology for
the benefit of our customers.
Sunset is currently run by Roy's son James Warren and daughter Linda Nees. Linda's son Rob is preparing
to take over the company as the 3rd generation to continue and grow what Roy started over 60 years ago!
