James Warren - President / Owner:
Jim started while still in high school when Sunset was in his parent's back yard and has lead Sunset since 1960.
Jim has developed and implemented Lean ERP, lean accounting and lean performance tracking at Sunset. Jim
Chairs the Lean Accounting SIG at the NW High Performance Enterprise Consortium (NWHPEC). Jim was a presenter
at the 2007 National Lean Accounting Summit held in Orlando Florida.

Linda Nees - Office / Administrative manager / Owner:
Linda started right after high school cleaning (in her moms dishwasher) and packaging all the parts Jim and Roy
were running in the back yard shop. Her official hire date shows 1966, but most likely should be around 1962.

Charlie Hopewell - Chief Operating Officer, COO:
Charlie oversees all daily operations of SMC.
Charlie brings many years of experience in leadership skills, Lean manufacturing experience and integrity to the Sunset Team.
Charlie's experience includes 24 year experience with Neilsen Mfg.
in manufacturing, operations, marketing, sales, finance, quality (ISO) and team development. Charlie was President of the company when it made the very difficult decision to close its doors, primarily due to manufactured products moving off shore.

Bob Nees - Production Manager / Sales / Purchasing:
Bob has been with Sunset since 1966, started in the shop as foreman, working his way up to production manager, and purchasing.

Tom Arrington - Operations Director / Programming:
Tom has been with Sunset since 1989, hired originally as a machinist, Tom worked his way to being one of our top setup machinists.
Currently Tom is our full time programmer, and overall shop operations director.

Lauri Arrington - Sales Engineer / HR Director:
Lauri was originally hired as a machinist on the shop floor in 1992. When our estimator retired Lauri jumped at the opportunity, she has completely reinvented the position and turns out accurate estimates in very impressive time. Shortly there after she was appointed HR duties, once again performing at a high level and significantly improving and shaping the dynamic workforce we have today.

Bryan Houck - Sales:
Bryan is Sunset's newest management team member coming on board in 2008. He brings not only several years of sales experience, but has also worked on the purchasing side, materials management, and as an ISO internal auditor.

Ron Viste - Quality Director:
Ron started in 2006, his impact in that short amount of time on Sunset's quality system has been an overwhelming success.
